Recipe of the Week: Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients: roasted-chickpeas-garbanzo-beans-3144

2 cups Chickpeas, Garbanzo Beans or Bengal Gram, canned

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp basil

Instructions:

Toss chickpeas with oil and seasoning. Spread in single layer on baking pan. Bake in 450F oven for 30 minutes, shaking pan every 10 minutes.

Some good flavours:

  • Taco seasoning or chili powder and oregano
  • Basil, oregano, sea salt
  • Powdered sundried tomato and black pepper
